The Christmas Celebration
The Christmas Celebration was a huge success! It was the first time in two years that the Karis families could unite as one big family. ‘Brass for Africa’ provided the music for the singing and dancing. There was praise and worship, balloons, a humongous cake, a meal to share, hampers that were given out, and a timely message of encouragement.

After two years of not congregating for a Christmas Celebration because of Covid, Karis families finally gathered on the 14th December 2022 at St. Peter’s Naguru to celebrate the goodness of God who preserved their lives during that challenging season.
More than 400 people attended from the six linked Churches.
The guest speaker was Rev. Canon. Eng Paul Waswa Ssembiro (Chaplain of Thorncroft Chapel Kagwe, Uganda Christian University). He emphasised that Christmas is not about eating and putting on new clothes but rather a message of salvation to all God’s people.
As the year ends, Karis bid farewell to the families ‘Finishing Well.’ Seven families graduated this year and were blessed as they begin the next stage of their journey.
